Handwriting Practice on iPads

This week K5 classes got to practice their handwriting on the iPads using the app Pocket Phonics. We also practiced forming words by listening to the letter sound and choosing the corresponding letter.

First Week With MacBooks

This week in Tech Class we are going over the basics of using a MacBook and also having a little fun with PhotoBooth.

Web Scavenger Hunt

Mrs. Fain's 4th grade class working in small groups to finish the Web Scavenger Hunt: Where in the World? Students used zoo websites to find information on specific animals. We learned various facts on all sorts of animals like the meerkat, babirusa, and gila monster.

Jeopardy Review

Last week 2nd-5th graders played a Jeopardy game to review our previous lessons. We worked in groups and had a blast!

New Tech Lab Unveiling!!

After many weeks of hard work and planning the new "Tech Lab" is just days away from being unveiled to the incoming students of STJ. From the desks to the computers, from the mouse pads to the teacher... it's all new!! On August 11th Mr. Beard will open the door to a new Technology Lab and all of its exciting and innovative tools!!
